Can a chipped windshield be repaired, or does it need to be replaced?

It depends on the size and location of the damage. Chips smaller than a quarter and away from the driver’s line of sight can often be repaired safely. Larger cracks or damage near the edge of the glass typically require full replacement to maintain safety.

How long does a windshield replacement take?

Most windshield replacements are completed in 60–90 minutes, including prep, installation, and cleanup. We use FSM DAT 30-minute urethane, a high-strength adhesive that allows for safe drive-away times in as little as 30 minutes once installation is complete. Additional time will be needed if vehicle requires ADAS calibration.

What is FSM DAT 30-minute urethane, and why is it important?

This premium, fast-curing adhesive meets or exceeds OEM and federal crash safety standards (FMVSS 212/208). It ensures your new windshield bonds securely to the vehicle frame, restoring structural integrity and allowing you to safely drive shortly after installation. 

Do you offer ADAS calibration?

Yes. Many newer vehicles are equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) like lane-departure warnings, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking. After a windshield replacement, these systems require calibration — which we perform in-house to restore manufacturer accuracy.
